Dango
Dango
Power up with the perfect meal!
Dango skills are a crucial part of hunt preparation in Rise. While there are many options available, only a handful make a meaningful impact on hunt performance. This guide focuses on the most effective combinations that complement lance gameplay.
My Favourite Setups
So here are my most used Dango setups:
Anomaly Investigation Setup
Balanced setup focusing on survivability and consistent damage output.
Dereliction Setup
Super recovery offsets health drain while maintaining offensive capabilities.
Weakener Setup
Maximizes efficiency when hosting non-Anomaly quests.
How To Decide Which Dango To Use
Using Hopping Skewer is almost always worth it. So here's a Guide on what your Dango setup could look like:
- 4ïļâĢ
Weakener for hosted non-anomaly quests, otherwise Booster/Defender based on matchup difficulty
- 3ïļâĢ
Moxie for one-shot protection, Booster if confident in the matchup
- 1ïļâĢ
Feet for multiplayer without Flinch Free, Fighter for stamina-heavy matchups, otherwise Booster/Defender
Which Are The Best Dangos?
Weakener

Forces lower monster HP values when hosting non-anomaly quests. Can reduce target monster HP by up to 10%
Booster

Gives 6/9/12/15 Raw and 10/15/20/30 defense at lvl 1/2/3/4. Free stat boost :)
Moxie

One-shot prevention above health threshold. Essential for challenging content, unreliable below level 3.
Fighter

Reduces stamina costs for blocking and dodging. Particularly valuable for guard-heavy playstyles.
Driver

Increases the amount of recoverable red health when taking damage. Particularly effective with recovery skills, Bloodlust, or Strife builds.
Defender

Flat defense boost with chance to reduce damage. Super comfy if you get hit a lot.
Super Recovery

Gradual health regeneration. Primarily used to offset Dereliction/Berserk drain, requires level 4 for meaningful impact.
Feet

Grants Flinch Free at level 1. Essential for multiplayer if not slotted in armor.
